Are you looking for something good to read? Is your list of recommended books so long you just don’t know where to start? If you’re like the rest of us, you tend to read the same authors and styles over and over again. So join us to get a few new ideas through our annual discussion of some of the great books of 2022!Peter Thornell, Collection Development Librarian, will present numerous titles from several different genres of both fiction and non-fiction. Those attending are always welcome to share their own list of “must read” titles.No registration required for this in-person event.
Children's Department
Our Read to a Dog program provides a supportive environment to practice reading! Reading to trained therapy dogs helps develop literacy skills and builds confidence and self-esteem. Our canine friends are all wonderful, patient listeners who are looking forward to reading with you!Our listening teams are at the Library on Saturday mornings from 10:30 -11:30 in the Children's Department. Reading sessions last 15 minutes and are for children ages 5 and up.To register for a session, please call the Children's Department at 781-741-1405 ext. 1403. We hope you can join us!
