Frank Lloyd Wright said, “a good building does not hurt the landscape but is one which makes the landscape more beautiful than it was before the building was built.” He also said: “Study nature, love nature stay close to nature. It will never fail you.”These words resonate with Betsy Bray, a self-described Frank Lloyd Wright enthusiast. Betsy has visited over 100 of his public and private buildings. She has spent time volunteering for the Chicago-based Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy and was the recipient of the Conservancy Award in 2019. Betsy currently works for the Cape Cod Modern House Trust as a tour guide and events manager. Betsy is excited to share her passion for this architectural genius. Her illustrated talk is about 45 minutes long. This event will be held on Zoom; to join us please contact the Reference Desk: 781-741-1405 ext. 1404.

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to join us monthly for Yarn Craft Club! This is a casual meet-up club for teens who would like to bring their crochet, knitting, or other yarn projects in to work on with other likeminded teens. There won't be any set project each week, as this is a meet-up, but there will be yarn available for teens to use if they need some. No registration required.
