This 60 minute yoga practice offers a gentle mix of Hatha yoga based styles including breathwork and meditation to stimulate the energy systems in the body while at that same time bringing calm to the mind. Mindfulness practices based on the 7 attitudes from Jon Kabat-Zinn are woven throughout the class to facilitate the connection of the mind, breath, body, and spirit.All levels are welcome, with a focus on beginners and advanced beginners. All you need is an open mind, yoga mat, towel or blanket (to roll for support as needed), and water.Space in this event is limited, and registration signs you up for both August sessions: August 6 and 13.
