    An aging jockey (Clifton Collins Jr.), hopes to win one last title for his longtime trainer (Molly Parker), who has acquired what appears to be a championship horse. But the years -- and injuries -- have taken a toll on his body, throwing into question his ability to continue his lifelong passion. And the arrival of a young rookie rider (Moises Arias), who claims to be his son, and whom he takes under his wing, further complicates the path to fulfilling his dream.

    The Move & Groove Storytime is designed for children of various ages (5 and under) and their caregivers. Listen to fun stories, sing some songs, and move around in this fast-paced Storytime. Move & Groove is the perfect Storytime for young children who learn best when their brains and their bodies are active. Storytime will be held on May 18, 25 and June 1, 8, 15.

  1. Teen Mindful Yoga and Meditation for Stress Management

    May is Mental Health Awareness Month! All teens are invited to join us for this relaxing program with yoga teacher Paula McCree to help with your stress. This is a 45 minutes practice during which participants will experience breathing exercises, gentle seated yoga, and a guided meditation. Participants will learn practices that can be used anytime and anywhere to manage stress. No experience necessary!

    Space in this event is limited, and registration is required. To join us, please register online.

    Paula is a Hingham resident and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) 200 Basic Hatha and Pranotthan and a Certified Positivity and Relaxation Training Instructor. She infuses mindful principles based on the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program designed by Jon Kabat-Zinn into her classes and has been teaching since 2011.
