Monday, October 3 at 7:00 online via Zoom -- At 6,288, the tallest peak in the Northeastern United States, Mount Washington, is called the “Home of the World’s Worst Weather”, but why? This program will explore the unique life and work of the weather observers stationed on Mt. Washington and learn why, for a mountain its size, Mount Washington hosts some of the worst weather on Earth.
This program will be hosted by Francis Tarasiewicz, a Weather Observer/Education Specialist at Mount Washington Observatory.
