The Tory Travails of Hingham's Martin Gay

Tuesday, December 14 at 7:00 -- Join Gay family descendent Judy Petitmermet to learn about Hingham's Martin Gay, a staunch Loyalist during the American Revolution. Judy's presentation spans nearly 200 years of history from 1630 to 1824 and aims to tell the story of the "other side" of the American Revolution as seen through the experiences, travels, and surviving documents of Martin Gay.

Judith Petitmermet is a journalist whose 50-plus year career ranged from newspapers and television to magazines, teaching, and corporate communications. She was born in Los Angeles, grew up in an Air Force family, and is a graduate of Creighton University. She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

This event will be held on Zoom. To join us, please register online, and we will email you the link shortly before the program.

The presentation is approximately 30 minutes with time after for questions and discussion.
