Vampires, Monsters, Aliens, Masked Killers, and Zombies: A Look at the History and Impact of the Horror Film with Frank Mandosa

Tuesday, October 18, 2022

The horror genre did not begin with the movies, but the movies continue to bring them to the masses. Celebrate the Halloween season with a behind-the-scenes overview at some of the most memorable horror movie stories and characters ever to grace the screen! From Count Dracula and Frankenstein's creature to ghosts and werewolves, creepy vibes and jump scares will deliver a few treats - and maybe a trick or two!

Frank Mandosa is a high school English and Film Studies teacher who has a passion for all things cinema. Since 2012 he has been delivering presentations on a wide range of movie related topics and is the co-host of “Reel Life” - a Stoughton based cable TV program which offers commentary and analysis on Hollywood cinema.

This event will be held in person at the Library. To join us, please register online.
