We’ll go over what a search engine even is (hint: it might not be what you think!), explain how search engines find answers to your questions, talk about internet privacy, and compare the top four search engines in the US.Space in this event is limited, and registration is required. Thursday Thoughts was inspired by the founders of Two Writing Teachers and their Slice of Life challenge, which encourages us to notice the little things in everyday life. The goal is to write a weekly story about a notable moment and describe the experience with as much realism as possible. The program begins on July 7, but you can join at any time throughout the month. Each Thursday in July, you'll receive a few suggested writing prompts and themed writing paper via email. (Sharing your work is optional! But we would love to hear what you have to say.)One registrant will be chosen at random to receive a $25 gift card to Nona’s Ice Cream store.Register here to receive our Thursday Thoughts email.
