This 60 minute yoga practice offers a gentle mix of Hatha yoga based styles including breathwork and meditation to stimulate the energy systems in the body while at that same time bringing calm to the mind. Mindfulness practices based on the 7 attitudes from Jon Kabat-Zinn are woven throughout the class to facilitate the connection of the mind, breath, body, and spirit.All levels are welcome, with a focus on beginners and advanced beginners. All you need is an open mind, yoga mat, towel or blanket (to roll for support as needed), and water.Registration for this program has filled.

Our Read to a Dog program provides a supportive environment to practice reading! Reading to trained therapy dogs helps develop literacy skills and builds confidence and self-esteem. Our canine friends are all wonderful, patient listeners who are looking forward to reading with you!Our listening teams are at the Library on Saturday mornings from 10:30 -11:30 in the Children's Department.
