  2. Beginner Chess with Nolan DeMott | Ages 7+

    January 12, 2021, 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM @ Online via Zoom -- New to Zoom? Watch this short video.

    During this Beginner Chess series students will review the basics of play and the rules of the game; students will also begin to develop an understanding of fundamental chess principles and basic tactical ideas. As the series progresses slightly more advanced principles and strategies will be introduced. This class is best suited for elementary aged children as well as slightly older students who are interested in learning about playing chess.
