Meeting.
June 19, 2019, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM @ Fearing/Trustees Conference Room
Class participants will write pieces on a variety of subjects--childhood memories, stories about family members and friends, trips they've taken, historical events important in their lives, changes in culture they've observed over the years, every day activities and other true-life topics. Class will be led by Frank Mellen who has been teaching memoir writing at the Senior Center for more than five years and produced three anthologies of writers' favorite contributions, all of which are part of the library collection and available for circulation. Most writing is completed outside of class and class members share and discuss their stories and encourage others. If you are interested in writing or have already begun doing so, we would love to have you join the group. The class will meet twice per month, April 10 & 24, May 15 & 22, and June 5 & 19. Registration required.
