This film tells the story of Clay Soper, a popular college student who died after consuming a combination of Xanax and alcohol. The screening is open to all high school students, their parents/guardians and members of the community. However due to the nature of the content, we encourage parents to leave younger children at home.

Books, Bounces, and rhythmic activity ensure that this engaging Storytime for babies (0 to 14 months) and their caregivers is the perfect environment for building your baby’s foundation for lifelong reading. Babies will be introduced to familiar rhymes and songs as well as the opportunity to mingle with other babies and their caregivers. Following the program, families are invited to socialize and play with library’s collection of toys.

Our Read to a Dog program provides a supportive environment to practice reading! Reading to trained therapy dogs helps develop literacy skills and builds confidence and self-esteem. Our canine friends are all wonderful, patient listeners who are looking forward to reading with you!
The program takes place each Saturday morning from 10:30-11:30. Reading sessions last 15 minutes and are for children ages 5 and up. Please reserve a spot by calling the Children's Department at 781-741-1405 ext. 1403.We hope you can join us! Our furry friends are looking forward to reading with you! Wizards used magic for change and once a month (on school half days) from January to June we will use our powers to do the same! We will transform, reinvent and repurpose! April: It is NOT witchcraft but creativity. Professor McGonagle teaches transformation which is what one does with Origami. Transform simple paper into different shapes!

For teens only: we're having a Fandom Wednesday! This time, we're celebrating the Doctor Who fandom. Come eat some Doctor Who snacks, make some easy crafts (including buttons!), and tell us who your favorite Doctor is! Open to all teens, no registration necessary.
