    Cheryl West, Social Worker for the Town of Hingham, offers free drop-in office hours on Tuesdays from 10:00 - Noon in the Library's Fearing Room and is available from 8:30 - 4:30 on Wednesdays at the Town Hall. She can be reached by calling 781-804-2370.

    Cheryl is available to help with accessing emergency services (food, clothing, housing, and crisis support), education and employment, family matters, health improvement (including insurance and mental health concerns), and support groups for men, women, and teens.

  1. Family Scavenger Hunt

    Visit the children's department for instructions and search sheet. After you finish your hunt, return your form to the children's desk and receive a small prize. Everyone is a winner. This is a self-guided hunt, children under 9 must be accompanied by a parent.

  3. Touch-A-Truck at the LIbrary

    Touch-A-Truck is a fun family event to be enjoyed by kids of all ages! The trucks will be parked along the side of the library near the Children's entrance. Trucks graciously provided by Hingham DPW and the Hingham Municipal Light Plant.
