Take a trip and explore the world all without leaving your home. Participants in this class will learn about the exciting features of Google Earth and a few lesser known features of Google Maps too! You will learn how to view the world in 3-D, take street view tours of famous landmarks, and play games using pictures and maps from across the globe. We will be using library computers for this lesson but you are welcome to bring your own laptop if you prefer.This program requires registration. Blake Dinius, first Entomologist Educator for Plymouth County, will present a program to help educate the public about the ticks in our local area. Join the HPL for Books On Tap, our newest adult book club! It will meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month at Not Your Average Joe's in Norwell at 7:00 pm, and will provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere for members to chat about books. Book choices will focus on recent, fresh, and interesting reads. So come on down, grab a cocktail, and enjoy a literary night out! Books will be available for pick-up at the reference desk two weeks before each meeting.

Wiggle, rhyme, read, and sing in this active storytime! Simple stories and music introduce the sounds and rhythms of language and play to your little learner. This drop-in program is perfect for children 14 months to 3 years and their caregivers. Following the program, families are invited to socialize and play with library’s collection of toys.
