    The Hingham Library’s big semi-annual used book sale will be held on Thursday, April 12 and Saturday, April 14 from 10:00 - 4:00 in the Library’s Whiton Room. The sale features items that have not previously been available for sale in the Library’s bookstore, including cookbooks, tons of children’s and YA titles, puzzles, CD’s, audio books, DVDs and some vinyl records along with current paperbacks and novels.

    Children's books will once again be available in a bag sale - fill one of our bags for $3.00.

    Don’t miss this opportunity to stock up on great reads at a great price!

  1. READ TO SALTY - a therapy dog

    April 14, 2018, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ Children's Department

    Salty is the newest member of our Reading Therapy Dog team. He is a 13-year-old Chihuahua who is a gentle and patient listener and a certified therapy dog. Salty will be at the library on selected Saturdays. He will be available for 15 minute sessions on his “listening” days. *Please call the Children’s and Young Adult Department to register for your preferred sitting. Suitable for kids age 4 and up. SALTY’s listening dates for 2018 are: Feb. 03, Feb. 10, Mar. 03, Mar. 10, Mar. 31 and April 14
