In this 12-week cycle, Advanced lessons prepare players who are at tournament level.
All chess lessons at Hingham Public Library are free. To help offset the costs of funding the program, a suggested donation of $10 per lesson is gratefully accepted by Hingham Chess Club, yet not required. Through their partnership with the Hingham Public Library, HCC is also the recipient of a grant generously provided by the Harold and Avis Goldstein Trust.

One part social meeting and one part LGBT history lesson, LGBTea is a safe, no judgement space for anyone identifying as LGBTQ+ or as an ally. One evening a month we come together to share our joys and concerns confidentially and discuss our community's past present and future over tea and snacks.

This is for the person who is comfortable using Facebook in their personal life, but wants to take the next step in leveraging the platform to benefit their business, hobby, or side hustle. The content (info/pictures/links/tone of voice used) you would share is obviously quite different than your personal account and Facebook ads/Facebook marketing can be quite daunting to the average person. Not only will we guide you through these tools, we'll show you a number of cost-effective (if not totally free!) tools to boost your "reach" online.
