  4. MBTA Advisory Board Meeting

    Members of the public are welcome to attend this meeting with Executive Director MBTA Advisory Board Paul Regan to discuss the possibility of adding later train service through midnight for the three lines on the South Side where service terminates before 11:00pm. Those lines are Greenbush, Middleboro/Lakeville and Kingston/Plymouth. Consensus of the group will be reported back to MBTA Leadership for consideration. Members from the South Shore have advocated for this additional service to take advantage of sporting and cultural events and the nightlife that is part of living near a major city.

    Books, Bounces, and rhythmic activity ensure that this engaging Storytime for babies (0 to 14 months) and their caregivers is the perfect environment for building your baby’s foundation for lifelong reading. Babies will be introduced to familiar rhymes and songs as well as the opportunity to mingle with other babies and their caregivers. Following the program, families are invited to socialize and play with library’s collection of toys.

    All teens are welcome to join our new Anime & Manga Club! Each meeting, members will get to talk about anime and manga with fellow enthusiasts. Each time, there will be a small craft and snack and we will watch one episode of an anime show - decided by group vote - via Crunchyroll. Registration not required.
