  2. Stories & Snacks: "Special Session" with author, Julia Walsh reading her book, "Wings in the Wind"

    This "Stories & Snacks" is a special session with author Julia Walsh who will read her book, "Wings in the Wind". This book is about an orphaned Mallard Duck who lost his family but did not give up, and about a little girl who watched and loved the duckling as he struggled to make it to adulthood. It takes place on the Merrimack River in Massachusetts and is based on a true account. Stories & Snacks is a drop in program for school age children (ages 5 - 8) and their families. Participants will listen to the story while enjoying an afterschool snack (provided by the library) and then make a fun craft to take home
