    Speaker: Don Salvatore Topic: Solitary Bees: The Other Bees It has been well documented that honey bees are in decline. While scientists try to find out why, and how to reverse this trend, our crops and foliage still need to be pollinated. Native mason bees, leaf-cutter bees, digger bees and a host of others can help. These bees are gentle and are efficient pollinators — each bee does the equivalent work of 60 honey bees! Come find out about our native solitary bees.

    Hoopla is the Library’s newest service for borrowing digital movies, music, and audiobooks. Hoopla can be used on a computer, Kindle Fire, as well as most Android and iOS devices. In this class you will set up your hoopla account and learn how to search their catalog and borrow materials. Please bring your library card to class. You are welcome to use our computers, or to bring the device you plan to use. Note: Hoopla is only available to Hingham cardholders. Drop-in Event.
