Are you looking for something good to read? Is your list of recommended books so long you just don’t know where to start? If you’re like the rest of us, you tend to read the same authors and styles over and over again. So come to the Hingham Public Library on Saturday February 25th at 11 am to get a few new ideas through our annual discussion of some of the great books of 2016!
Peter Thornell, Collection Development Librarian and Readers’ Advisor, will present numerous titles from several different genres of both fiction and non-fiction. Those attending are always welcome to share their thoughts on their own list of “must read” titles. Refreshments will be available.

This month we are reading: The Rat Prince by Bridget Hodder.
Before Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters moved into Lancastyr Manor, Cinderella was known as the Lady Rose de Lancastyr. Then her stepmother forced her to become a kitchen maid and renamed her. At first the rats of the manor figure Cinderella for a lack-wit and take pity on her by bringing her food and a special family heirloom. But when Cinderella's stepmother finds a way to prevent her from attending the ball, the rats join forces to help her. The night of the ball is filled with magic and secrets--not least of all who Lady Rose will choose to be her Prince Charming. For students in grades 4 & 5. Please register: 781-741-1405 ext. 1403.
