    READ to BOO! Keep your reading skills sharp by reading to Boo, an adorable Shih Tzu. He is a certified reading and therapy dog. Boo will be at the library on listed Saturdays. He will available for 15 minute sessions on his “listening” days. *Please call the Children’s and Young Adult Department to register for your preferred sitting. Suitable for kids age 4 and up.     Join us for a special autumn Pop Up Art program! Make a Day of the Dead Altar! Celebrated primarily in Mexico, the Day of the Dead is a public holiday when families come together to honor and celebrate the lives of their deceased loved ones. The Pop up Art School will bring everything you'll need to create an altar like those made for Día de los Muertos.
