Pop Up Art: Halloween Ghost Figure | Ages 12+
Saturday, October 24, 2020
Make a spooky or friendly ghost with an unusual material – toilet paper! Sculpting with toilet paper is a no mess way of doing papier-mâché. There’s no goopy glue or wheat paste needed. If we have time, we’ll also make a candy corn or fold some Halloween-themed origami! After the class, we will send you a video that shows you how to paint your ghost after it dries.
Click here and scroll down for the list of materials you'll need.
This program will be held via Zoom. Registration for this program has closed. If you had previously registered, you have been emailed the Zoom information.
Materials Needed for Live Virtual Class.
Please gather all the supplies before the class begins:
Toilet paper – Scott toilet paper works the best because it has some recycled content
A bowl with 1.5 to 2 cups of water
2 pieces of printer paper or origami paper
Supplies to Paint Ghost. We will share an art tutorial video that shows you how to paint your ghost figure after it has dried. You do not need these supplies for the live class.
Acrylic paint – white and black
Large paintbrush to cover ghost with paint and a smaller detail brush for the face
Optional: Sharpie markers in black and pink
If you have any questions or need help with the materials you can email us at
