    Playing with Lego©’s is a great opportunity to invent, collaborate and play. Our February theme is ocean animals but participants can choose their own path and make their own creation.   14. Magic: The Gathering | An Introductory Session for ages 10+

    Interested in playing "Magic:The Gathering" (a strategy card game) but don't know where to start? A Library volunteer and skilled Magic player will be explaining and demonstrating the basics at an introductory session. Learn the basics in a small group setting.     Our Read to a Dog program provides a supportive environment to practice reading! Reading to trained therapy dogs helps develop literacy skills and builds confidence and self-esteem. Our canine friends are all wonderful, patient listeners who are looking forward to reading with you!

    The program takes place each Saturday morning from 10:30-11:30. Reading sessions last 15 minutes and are for children ages 5 and up. Please reserve a spot by calling the Children's Department at 781-741-1405 ext. 1403.

  23. Artist-in-Residence: Fly By Night Dancers

    February 29, 2020, 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM @ Whiton Room

    Children ages 5-10 and their families are invited to join us to create the Fly By Night dance troupe during this unique and interactive dance series with our inaugural artists-in-residence, Nikki Hu and Guy Van Duser.

    The program will run two Saturdays a month from January-March culminating in a final performance on March 21. Participants are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible. Learn more.
