World War II and Film: 20th Century Hollywood in War-Time America with Frank Mandosa
Tuesday, June 7, 2022
Over the past 80 years, countless movies have documented and, in some cases, fictionalized the stories of a world embroiled in the same lifetime-defining experience of World War II. To honor those who served, as well as their loved ones, we will take a behind-the-scenes look at some of the most impactful films about the war years that are from the war years. Storytelling may not always perfectly capture reality, but it is an effective way to keep it in the public consciousness for future generations.
This event will be held in person at the Library. To join us,
