Genealogy with Seema Kenney: Using US Census Records for Family History

Wednesday, September 30, 2020

Join the Hingham Public Library and professional genealogist Seema Kenney for an interesting and informative look at how to use census data for your family history research. As the country continues to gather important information about the US population from the current census, learn how the information contained in past censuses can help you uncover clues and fill in the blanks in your own genealogy. Learn more about the purpose of the census, the instructions and methods for the enumerators, and the hidden gems you find when reading the entire page.

This program will be held via Zoom. To join us, please register online, and we will email you the link shortly before the meeting.

Seema is an experienced software instructor and a professional genealogist. She has a certificate in Genealogical Research from BU, completed ProGen and is an active member of several societies and part of the NERGC planning committee.
