Through My Eyes: The World of Service Dogs
Thursday, September 24, 2020
Immerse yourself into the world of Service Dogs. Join Guide Dog handler, Isabella Scott, on Zoom to learn what life is like with sight loss. By her side will be her gorgeous yellow lab Guide Dog, O'Hara. Learn how Isabella lost her sight, how she came to be matched with O'Hara, and how O'Hara trained to become a Guide Dog. Isabella will also explain what a Service Dog truly is, the differences between different types of Assistance Animals, and how YOU can help erase stigma surrounding disabilities!
Watch short videos of O'Hara and Isabella working as a team, and have every action O'Hara takes explained. There will be time after the presentation for questions. Join us and help create a more inclusive world together!
This meeting will be held via Zoom. Registration for this program has closed. If you had previously registered, you have been emailed the Zoom information.
