Join radio personality Ron Della Chiesa on Saturday afternoon, December 10th at 3pm, when he presents a program of opera, jazz, and popular music on his 1903 RCA Victrola! He'll be playing vintage 78 rpm records that captured the sound that resonated in every home in America during the early years of the 19th century. Ron traces the development of recorded sound from the 1877 Edison cylinder phonograph to the 1897 Gramophone invented by Emil Berliner. You'll also have a chance to meet and hear the story of "Nipper," the famous RCA dog. It promises to be a fun afternoon as we wind up the old Victrola and bring back the sounds of yesteryear! No reservations required.
